Building an oblique-roped crane with spiral

    Hi everyone :)
    so this is my first Post here:
    I wanted to build a crane with a hook moving horizontally. Instead on an (expensive) rail, I wanted to build the system with oblique wires. Now of course, the wires have to be reeled out/reeled in at the correct relative speeds. To do this, I thought of having two spiral-shaped drums.
    So in the picture there is my solution:
