Elliptic integrals

    Hi,

    I am using a forumla for a magnetic field that uses complete elliptic
    integrals.

    There is a function in Maple that represents these integrals,
    'EllipticK'. I would to evaluate this function and get a numerical
    answer out. I know the modulus of the function as a numerical value.

    My difficulty is that I can only get Maple to return
    'ellipticK(4.456337)' when I want it to actually evaluate the
    integral. If I explicitly type in the integral that defines the
    elliptic function then Maple recognises that it is an elliptc function
    and returns 'ellipticK(4.456337)'. How can I force Maple to give a
    numerical value for the integral?

    Thanks,
    Jennie

    Maple is case sensitive, just use a capital E like
    EllipticK(4.456337);
    or
    'EllipticK(4.456337)': '%'=%;

    Oh, how simple!
    Thank you!
