We end Chapter 1/Section 5 here. Section 6 deals with Synthetic Division. Chapter 1 is a review chapter. I will post miscellaneous math problems from different courses throughout the week.

if section 6 deals with Synthetic Division, why you are posting geometry and trigonometry problems?

Geometry and trigonometry problems is just a review. If you think I should just stick to my college algebra textbook, please say so. Disregard the geometry and trigonometry threads. Let someone else reply if he or she so desires. Let's stick to the course at hand.

you should just stick to college algebra, don't jump from topic to topic (that just causes confusion)

You are right, Mira. Let's stick to one course at a time. By the way, we have not done college algebra work thus far. We are still in the review chapter.
