I have not taken Calculus. So, I really can't comment on its content. I like Precalculus (for now). Maybe after learning Calculus, my choice will change. What about you? What is your favorite math course and why?

Pre-calculus and Calculus have a lot in common. Pre-Calculus is more of an extension from College Algebra with a few more concepts. It is also a prerequisite to Calculus.

    Pre-calculus
mathematics is about what things are. A rectangle has an area; what is it? A line has a slope; what is it? An airplane has a speed; what is it? Grammatically, it’s all about the adjectives: something is blue, heavy, or slow.

Calculus is about how things are changing. What happens to the area of a rectangle when you increase the side length? What happens to the speed of an airplane as it comes in for a landing?
