CHAT GTP1+2+4+8+16+32+5063+10126+20252+40504+81008=162496.1+2+4+8+16+32+5063+10126+20252+40504+81008=162496.Since the sum does indeed equal 162496, based on this calculation, it supports the claim that 162496 is a perfect number.

    "1+2+4+8+16+32+5063+10126+20252+40504+81008=162496" is wrong.
This sum is 157016. You could easily have checked this yourself.

Besides that: half of these factors are wrong and one factor less than the squareroot and hence another one greater than the squareroot are missing.

The factors of 162496 (less than itself) are:
    1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 2539, 5078, 10156, 20312, 40624 and 81248.
    Their sum is 160084.

You still did very well. I know what it is to get excited about something, and not properly check your math. Do not stop trying! Well done!

Logic, I wouldn't expect some one with the name logic to dispense knowledge in a kind manner. Shame on you!

"Logic, I wouldn't expect some one with the name logic to dispense knowledge in a kind manner."

Conway, I wouldn't expect someone who started a topic called 'Suicide' (where he wrote that he was going to kill himself) to be visiting a mathematicsforum anymore.
You are not really a man-of-your-word, are you? Shame on you!

Oh, and by the way, it is 'abstract', not 'absract' as you often write.

It would be so nice if this forum had a moderator.

The topic "Suicide", was done for a philosophical reason. A reason that had nothing to do with suicide. I could care less about my poor spelling. As long as the idea is properly conveyed. As it clearly was, you knew exactly the word I was looking for.

Granted, if there was a admin, I would be the first to be banned.....lol

I pray to the infinite that you have something wonderful happen to you today.

And here we go again: "The topic "Suicide", was done for a philosophical reason."

Then why start that topic on a mathematics forum?
Why not go to a philosophy forum?

"Granted, if there was a admin, I would be the first to be banned.....lol"
So you know you would be banned because your comments have nothing to do with mathematics?

You are nothing but an attention-seeker.
Try to find some friends or go talk to a psychiatrist or something.
    Time to grow up Conway.

Where in my post have nothing to do with mathematics....well they have something to do with teaching others the concept of love.

In any case there is no longer a need to continue this conversation. I grant you the last word.

Time to learn to LOVE, Logic!

"....well they have something to do with teaching others the concept of love."

Even though it might be interesting (if not necessary) in itself, this forum is not about teaching people the concept of love, this forum is about mathematics.

Therefor, comments about religion, philosophy, love, personal opinions or believes etc. have no place here. But apparently you are neither capable nor willing to understand that.
And because of that, there is indeed no need to continue this conversation.

Time to learn to THINK, Conway!
(that is just another way of saying: grow up)
I wish you good luck with that. I'm pretty sure you're going to need it because thinking doesn't come naturally to you.

"...love is relative every where and at all times..."
Except on a mathematics forum where people discuss mathematical topics and not philosophical ones.
But we have already established that that is too difficult for you to understand, haven't we?

By the way: I thought you said "I grant you the last word." ?
But yet you post another response.
Again, you are not exactly a man-of-your-word, are you?
Or was "I grant you the last word." also meant in a philosophical way?
