Help Converting polar plot formula to Cartesian plot formula tia sal2

    Greetings all

    I'm trying to convert a Archimedes' spiral polar plot formula to a
    Cartesian plot formula but having some syntax problem.

    Here's the polar formula
    (plots[polarplot])(t, t = 0 .. 4*Pi, scaling = constrained)

    PS: I'm trying to graph both Cartesian and Polar so I can see how the graph
    looks over time.

  2. The spiral r = t has parametric form x = r cos(t) = t cos(t),
    y = r sin(t) = t sin(t). So you can make a "cartesian" parametric
    plot:

    plot([r*cos(t),r*sin(t),t=0..4*Pi]);
