  1. Help with modifying equation tia sal22

    Greetings all
I have a standing wave equation that I modified below:
    f(x) = y0*cos(w*x + phase)*sin(k*x1) / sin(w*x - phase)*cos((k + 180)*x1) + vertoff

When I vary the phase variable I get this animation
    insert animation

I'm trying to modify the standing wave equation/formula
    which is y0*cos(w*x + phase)*sin(k*x1)
to get the equation to due the part in green by varying
    the phase variable

anyone have any ideas of how to adjust the equation.

just take the _delthis of my emaill address if you want to respond directly

    tia sal22
