what can we say about the decimal representation of x^2 or sqrt(x) ?
In other words, up to which digit of x^2 or sqrt(x), the resulting number is accurate?

  2. It depends upon whether the number is rational or irrational.
What can we say about sentences that don't begin with a capital letter?
If the representation is eventually all zeros, then it's accurate
at the last non-zero digit. Otherwise, it's never accurate.
