I have Matlab 4 student edition and am limited to 8192 elements with
only 32 rows and columns. How can I increase the number of elements
so that I can plot diagrams with more detail?
Or do I have to purchase an upgraded version and spend mucho money?
    Any suggestions?
    thanks, Bill

  2. The student edition costs $100 or thereabouts. If you can't afford
that, use one of those file sharing programs folks use to download
music files and search for a version of professional MATLAB. I know a
number of students who were successful in doing so.

The downside of this approach is that using such software for
obtaining copyrighted software is illegal. Perphaps that is
bothersome to your ethics and integrity?
