Inverses

I think there is something wonderful in the concept of inverses. Inverses are not opposites. Inverses are regularly needed in mathematical formulas. Lets take it to the world of philosophy.

HallsofIvy...for example is my inverse. He/She is 2 over 1. I am 1 over 2.

2 is analytical genius. 1/2 is philosophical genius.

We desperately need each other. Mathematicians need philosophers. Philosophers need mathematicians. Without inverses, many formulas in mathematics would not work. Let us work together. Let us remerge philosophy and mathematics!

 

One thing I've noticed about *actual* geniuses is that they feel no need continually to declare themselves to be geniuses.

 

This is the only time in which I have done so. And I did so to make a point. Make no mistake...I am also an idiot.

In philosophy it is understood, all people are genius in some way or another.

It is said even fools have their wisdom.
