Part (c)

We return to precalculus tomorrow and throughout the weekend but, like I said in our most recent PM, I will post questions that

A. I tried over and over again to solve but to no avail and B. questions that I simply have no idea what to do.

P. S. Look for my occasional David Cohen questions from time to time. By the way, I had no idea that David Cohen passed away years ago from leukemia. I guess we are not leaving this world alive.

very touching tributes

I concur. I love David Cohen. You know, life is unfair. The world needs more people like him. David's mathematical genius was beyond his colleagues. I never met the man. I absolutely love his precalculus textbooks editions 3 and 4. May he rest in the paradise of God.
