How do we multiply numbers in base other than 10?

    For example: 2 x 2 in base 3.

    2 x 2 in base 3
    2 * 2=4...........convert 4 to base3

When 4 is divided by 3, the quotient is 1 and the remainder is 1.
When 1 is divided by 3, the quotient is 0 and the remainder is 1.

Write the remainders from bottom to top: 11

    so,
    (2*2)( 10)=(4)( 10)=11( 3)

I didn't expect you to ask that questions
think like this: if you have set of 1 car, you 0 sets of 3 cars in it
