After Section 6.6, chapters 6-9 are mainly a review of College Algebra or a very advanced Algebra 2 course. Topics like linear programming, matrix algebra, systems of equations, systems of inequalities, etc can be studied at a future time when I begin to review College Algebra (MA104). So, after Section 6.6, we then go to the last chapter in the Ron Larson textbook. See picture below. After Chapter 10, we can then move on to Calculus 1 in the James Stewart textbook.

You understand there is no need to review chapters 6 to 9 because college algebra covers those areas, which I plan to review after calculus.
