Regarding Separatrix in a 2D matrix

I would like to know how to get the separatrices in the 2D matrix (stream function value). If anyone can suggest me on it will be of great support.

Yeah, finally I have to program over a matrix. But I would like to know how to start for a given 2D matrix

I have noticed that the solver requires an equation to compute and plot the phase plane line. However, I have a 2D matrix with two variables. On top of streamlines, I would like to demarcate the phase portrait line (separatrix line).
I have seen in the material it requires an equation to solve by ODE in Matlab. How should I proceed with 2D matrix case (say on top of streamlines)
