    What is the basic relationship between geometry and trigonometry?

    trigonometry is the subset of geometry, that deals with the properties of one of the shapes in geometry called “Triangle”

    Can we say that trigonometry is the study of triangles? I have heard it say that geometry means EARTH MEASURE. Is this true? If so, what does measuring the earth have to do with geometry?

    trigonometry deals with the study of triangles, it is concerned with specific functions of angles and their application to calculations
