why is math so hard for someone to understand:

Because math involves using plenty of multi-step processes to solve problems, being able to master it takes a lot more practice than other subjects. Having to repeat a process over and over again can quickly bore some children and this may make them become impatient with math.

Math is scientific. Math requires thinking. Society hates to think. Math requires solving problems. Society is too lazy to walk much less solving for x.

Math is not always scientific...such as.

Acknowledging that there is an infinite number of expressions. That cannot be solved for, and then refusing to find a way to solve them. Mathematicians will literally tell you it isn't a problem.

Such as...Refusing to acknowledge that a vertical slope exists.

Such as...being able to define zero, without telling you what it does. What something does, is not what it is.

Such as not being able to say clearly that all multiplication is addition, yet clearly it is.

    The list goes on...

Lastly the very essence of science, is to "understand". I disagree with this video. Mathematics should be able to be understood in all respects. Unless something is inherently wrong with it.
