Honestly, why does it feel that time is quickly passing after a certain age? I am 57 years old. After age 50 it appears that time is riding on an express train into the future. For example, we are almost in the middle of July 2022. How is that possible? Christmas will be here in less than 6 months. How can that be?

our journey is like a parabola that opens down
you start at origin, going up hill until vertex (the top point at half of your life) -> up there journey was kind of slow
ones you reach a top, you are "sliding" down much faster

Life is like a rollercoaster hill. Yes? The downward turn drops so fast into death.
