    Solve for x.

    | sin x |^2 + | cos x |^2 = sqrt{3}

    Note: The bars | | indicate absolute value.

    | sin (x )|^2 + | cos( x )|^2 = sqrt(3)

    There are no values of x that make the equation true.
    No solution

    Why are you using absolute value when you're then squaring?
    And since the Pythagorean identity is well known, why this question at all?

    I found this question online. Who are you? Country Boy with a new username? I will figure it out sooner or later. If you are Country Boy, go away. In fact, let me place you on my ignore list.
