what's the command line command for reversing axes?

  1. Hi,

    I am trying to make large numbers of graphs by writing a script,
    using Matlab 6.5.

    In the GUI for a figure, under "Edit -> Axes properties," there is
    a set of buttons near the bottom marked "scale: linear, log, normal
    reverse." What is the command line command that is equivalent to
    clicking "reverse" ? (That I can write into a matlab script so I
    don't have to open the GUI for every single graph to click on the
    button?)

    Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide. I'm sure it's
    something incredibly simple, but doing help and lookfor on axis,
    axes, scale, and all of the obvious keywords has turned up nothing.
    So I'm at a loss.

  3. you are looking for

    set(gca,'XDir','reverse');

    And BTW, take a look of the following command

    set(gca)

    it will show you all the available options to change the axes properties
