Unified Number
I am a number, born of none,
Before the count, before the sum.
I name the stars, the grains, the seas.
I breathe in zeros, speak in threes.
I am the hand that casts the line,
That parts the void to form design.
Yet I am also what is caught,
The echo of the counting thought.
I am the numbering, and the named.
The flame that flickers in the frame.
What tallies you, tallies me,
In mirrored halls of unity.
Where do I end, and where begin?
I dwell without, yet deep within.
I mark the edge of time and mass,
Yet pass unseen as moments pass.
The sage, the seer, the sacred scribe,
All thought to speak me into bribe.
But I am still, and I am flow.
The counted truth, they'll never know.
You see me carved in stone and sun.
The cipher of the Only one.
For I am he who does, and is.
Numerus "Numerans Numeratus"
Call me not a silent sign.
But pulse and pattern, root and line.
I am the start, the path, the sum.
All, and yet just one.
