Find a, b, and c

y=a*sin(bx-c)

71.
a=2 (the amplitude of the graph is the maximum height the graph reaches from the x-axis)

The period (the distance along the x axis that is required for the function to make one full oscillation)
one full oscillation is from, -pi/4 to pi+3pi/4=7pi/4 -> 8pi/4 =2pi

2pi/b=2pi
b=1

Phase Shift: pi/4 to the left =>c=-pi/4

The phase shift is the measure of how far the graph has shifted horizontally

y=2*sin(x-(-pi/4))
y=2*sin(x+ pi/4)

These problems are a little bit more involved. I will check out the video clips before tackling the other questions.

I like him, organized, easy to watch, easy to understand.

I posted lots of questions. I think you should upload video lessons like Leonard. Get yourself a small white board, a few EXPO makers and you're all set. I also like Leonard. He is easy to watch. Wish I had time to watch his video lessons. He is very good.
