Find Area of Shaded Circle

this problem is not from your book

x^2/4+y^2/12=1 is an ellipse with center at (0,0)

=>the length of the side of the square is 8
=> the radius of the circle is 8/2=4
the area of the shaded circle is 4^2*pi=16pi=50.27 square units
