    given area of the shaded triangle which height is 6 units
    y-intercept is at (0,6)

    use area to find x-intercept which is the end point of the base of the triangle

    area=(1/2)b*h
    72=(1/2)b*6
    72=b*3
    b=72/3
    b=24

    x-intercept is at (24,0)

    find a slope: (0,6), (24,0)

    m=(0-6)/(24-0)
    m=-6/24
    m=-1/4

    use point slope formula to find equation of the line

    y-y[1]=m(x-x[1]).....m=-1/4 and (0,6)
    y-6=-(1/4)(x-0)
    y=-(1/4)x +6
