    amplitude a=3

    periodicity of sin is 2pi
    period=periodicity/|b|..........in your case b=1
    period=2pi/|1|=2pi

    2.
    amplitude a=3/4

    periodicity of sin is 2pi
    period=periodicity/|b|..........in your case b=1/2
    period=2pi/|1/2|=4pi
