What is the average (arithmetic mean) of all the multiples of ten from 10 to 190 inclusive?
I think making a list of all the multiples of 10 including 10 and 190 is the right approach. The middle number is the average.
Here is my list.
10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100,110,
120,130,140, 150,160,170,180,190.
The middle number is 100. The average is 100.
