Ginger has a box of items. There are 24 coloring books and 36 crayons. What is the probability of selecting a coloring book or a crayon from the box?

The events are mutually exclusive. Yes?

    Let x = coloring book

    Let y = crayon

    P( x or y) = P(x) + P(y)

    P(x or y) = 24/60 + 36/60

    Correct set up?
