    Question 8.

    2 sin θ - 3 cos θ = r

    Multiply both sides by r.

    2 r sinθ - 3 r cosθ = r•r

    2y - 3x = r^2

    2y - 3x = x^2 + y^2

    2y - 3x - x^2 - y^2 = 0

    You say?

I thought you said we need to solve for y, which means to isolate y. Yes or no?

you can leave it like that, but I prefer solving for y which means to isolate y

I will not solve any of these questions for y, if it is not required.
