Part (a)

The period is pi/10. The Period tells me how long it takes for the wheel to repeat a full revolution.

Yes?

Part (b)

The amplitude is 50 feet. The amplitude tells me how the height of the wonder wheel.

Yes?

Part (c)

We're done with the essentials of Section 4.5. We now move on to Section 4.6 aka Graphs of Others Trigonometric Functions.

Part (a)
you are given b=pi/10, and period is 2pi/b=2pi/(pi/10)=20

Part (b) is correct

Part (c) -> correct

note: take a look what is the distance between two picks or two lowest points (the distance along the x-axis that is required for the function to make one full oscillation ) and you see that period is 20

Ok. I see that my problem has been finding the value of b.

Let me see.

2pi/b, where b represents the value next to t (in this example) but most of the time next to x.
