    How do we find the limit of piecewise functions?
    Can you do 11 as a guide for me to do 12?

    You said:

    "Evaluate the one-sided limits and you will see there is no interesting limit points found."

    1. Evaluate the one-sided limits using what value of x?

    2. Is there a way to find limits of piecewise functions algebraically?

    3. Do you recommend graphing the piecewise function to find the limit as x tends to a certain number?

    1. Evaluate the one-sided limits using what value of x?

    it is given:
    x<-1
    -1<=x<1
    x>=1
    so evaluate x->-1 and x->1 from left and right

    to find a limit of the piecewise function is little bit more complicated, I recommend you to do normal functions first

    Ok. I will skip limits of piecewise functions for now. I need to get more familiarized with limit of functions.
