    Find the missing term in the following series: 1, 4, 27, 16, _, 36, 343

    look for pattern

    1^3 = 1

    2^2 = 4

    3^3 = 27

    4^2 = 16

    So,

    5^3 = 125

    6^2 = 36

    7^3 = 343

    the answer is 125.
