    Calculus
    Section 2.5

How about 44? I will try the rest on my days off.

Note: No more questions until the coming weekend. Tonight back to work for me. I posted 5 new threads. I think it's better if you answer one thread per day. By doing so, you can then provide a detailed reply to each one.

    You say?

at x=1 function is continuous from left and right (lim(f(x)=2)
    at x=4 function is discontinuous

The function is discontinuous at x = 4 because there are two pieces of the function at different locations on the xy-plane. Yes?

Note: We continue with Calculus on my days off. However, for the rest of the week, I will post miscellaneous word problems from SAT, GRE, ASVAB, GMAT, GED etc online books. The most important aspect of word problems is the set up leading to the answer. If I learn Calculus very well but cannot solve middle school and high school word problems, I have then wasted your time and mine. You say?

Yes, remember: you cannot draw it without lifting your pencil from the paper

Very good. I may find time later to post a few algebra word problems on my break time. We return to Calculus on my days off.
