    Find the zeros of the function.

    f(x) = sqrt{3x + 2}

    Let me see.

    The zeros of a function are the roots of a function.

    I must let f(x) = 0 and solve for x.

    Yes?

    right

    in this case zero is x = -2/3 or point ( -2/3,0)

    Cool. I just needed to be sure. By the way, I have not been reading the lecture notes leading to the questions due to lack of time. Also, lecture notes are an easy read for people that understand math books. The only math books that I truly understand fairly well is the "Math For Dummies" series. Wish they had a "Dummies" book for Calculus 3.
