    prove:

    triangle PQR is congruent to triangle NMR

    statement.......................................reason

    1. PN bisects MQ.......................given
    2. < M and < Q are right angles.....given
    3. PR =RN and MR=RQ................bisecting forms two = segments
    4. < M= < Q .........identity
    5. < P= <N................... by def. of vertical angles
    6. Δ PQR Δ NMR.................ASA
