    Section 1.6
    Question 34

    See attachments.

    We have g(x) = [[ x - 3]].

Negative 3 means we move the parent function
    g(x) = [[ x ]] three units to the right. Yes?

I thought minus 3 in the brackets means to move the parent function g(x) = [[ x ]] three units to the right, which I didn't do. Notice that the function is NOT
g(x) = [[ x - number]] - 3. The minus 3 for my question lies inside the brackets not outside the brackets. I am wrong by not moving the final graph three units to the right due to minus 3 in the brackets.

    You say?

    P. S. I think it's worth doing two more step function graphs before moving on to the next section. Yes, we are still in Chapter 1. This chapter is long as you can see but no need to rush through the textbook. As I move through the textbooks, I will practice graphing by hand every now and then.
