    Section 2.3
    Question 9a

    Blue line = y_1

    Red line = y_2

The lines do not lie on top of each other. I say y_1 does not equal y_2.

    You say?

    demos is a graphing calculator
    note: (x^2+2x-1)/(x+3)=x-1+2/(x+3)

    In that case, y_1 = y_2.

    Red curve = blue curve.

Note: y_1 and y_2 lie on top of each other evenly.
