    The bottom portion of question 36 is x^2 + 2 when x > 2. Isn't x^2 + 2 an upward parabola? In your attachment you have two lines and no curve. Explain.

    yes, it is a part of an upward parabola, but it looks like line
    here is the graph of parabola without x>2
