    I will work on this later this morning. Why did you write 47° 40' and not 48 degrees?

    I know this involves two equations in two unknowns but I don't know how to set up the equations. Please, set up the equations and I'll take it from there. Thanks.

    let distance BD be y
    and distance DC be h

    then

    tan(35)=y/50..........eq.1

    and

    tan(48)=(y+h)/50.....eq.2
