I recently ran into this problem, and I cannot find a good solution. I hope someone here can point me in the right direction! Sorry if this is not posted in the right spot!

    I know two things:

Pounds convert to Euros at a rate of 1:1.43
Pounds convert to Dollars at a rate of 1:1.92

With this information, how do I calculate the conversion of one Dollar into Euros?

I have wracked my brain trying to solve this, but am not sure of the steps. Any help would be great!

    Thanks!

You've got both ratios with which all the information, so you know that 1 pound = 1.92 dollars = 1.43 euros

    Therefore 1.92 dollars = 1.43 euros

So 1.92:1.43 is the dollar:euro ratio

To get a nicer ratio, divide both by 1.92.

    1 dollar = 0.745 euros
