Limits of Piecewise Functions...2

    Find the limit of the function as x tends to -1.

    Let me see.

    As x tends to -1, there are two answers:

    I get y = 1 and y = -2.

    Since y does not = y, I say the limit DNE.

    Thanks. Of course, limits of piecewise functions get a little bit more complicated as the chapters go on.
