Limits of Piecewise Functions...4

    Calculus

    Find the limit as x tends to -1 and x tends to 3.

    I say the limit as x tends to -1 is -1.

    I say the limit as x tends to 3 is 2.

    correction:
    the limit as x tends to -1 from the left is -1
    the limit as x tends to -1 from the right is -2
    so, they are not equal
    if so, the limit DNE as x tends to -1

    and, second part is correct

    the limit as x tends to 3 from the left is 2
    the limit as x tends to 3 from the right is 2
    so, they are equal
    if so, the limit as x tends to 3 is 2
