I added the off-topic forum section so that we've got somewhere for general, friendly chat when the regular math forum sections may not be appropriate. However, the topics posted in the last few weeks are way too far from being posted on a a maths forum - politics and religion are always contentious subjects and don't belong on a forum dedicated to maths. I think those issues may be better posted on a forum where debate on those topics is encouraged.

Let's please stay away from political and religious discussion here, as it's too contentious an issue to be posted on a maths forum.

    Hi Ian.

No politics or religion. I know how much people hate God. I know how badly Trump is hated. I will themup anymore.

I have a few suggestions for new, added forums.
I would like to see the following new forms added:

    •Middle School Math
    •High School Math
    •Word Problems
    •SAT Math
    •GRE Math
    °ASVAB Math
    •GED Math
    •GMAT Math

    You say?

I'm happy to add some new forum sections, but perhaps in more general groupings - I'll see if there's a way we can utilise the tag feature for threads to identify topics better.

Your name is familiar. Are you in other math forums as well?

I know that but I also know someone named Ian who is also an administrator at several math forums. This is why I asked.

Feel free to delete the thread Power in the Blood in the Off-Chat forum. It's a simple hymn by the famous King's Heralds Quartet but might find it offensive and not right for this site. Trying to help others but people today truly hate God, the Bible and all that is good, clean and safe.

My apologies for my post in the "off-topic" forum. I did not see this thread until today. I would understand my posts deletion. However it is attached to mathematics. Never the less.....I understand. I am forced to say I find it a shame, people can not deal with contention. Mathematicians should learn to stiffen their backs in the face of disagreement.
