    Section 2.4
    Question 48

    13/(1 - i)

    Multiply numerator and denominator
by the complex conjugate of denominator.

    Yes?

    13/(1 - i) • (1 + i)/(1 + i)

    (13 + 13i)/(1 - i + i - i^2)

    (13 + 13i)/(1 - (-1))

    (13 + 13i)/2

    (13/2) + (13/2)I

    You say?

    How is 52 done?
