    corrections:

    9.7*10^3=9700
    4.112*10^2=411.2
    6.453*10^-1=0.6453

Thanks. Is there a general rule for moving to the right or left of the decimal point? I need to do a few more today.

to convert scientific notation to decimal form:
Move the decimal n places, adding zeros if needed.
If the exponent is positive, move the decimal point n places to the right.
If the exponent is negative, move the decimal point n places to the left.
