solve for x

    Solve for x: -3 (x+6)-2 × 4=-22.

    please help need quick

    Sorry that this is really late!

    You would distribute the -3 to the (x+6) and get -3x-18 -2 x 4 = 22

    Are the -2 and 4 within their own parentheses? I'm not sure...
