    yes
Trigonometry (from Greek trigonon "triangle" + metron "measure")

Trigonometry is all about triangles, helps us find angles and distances, and is used a lot in science, engineering, video games, and more!

Trigonometry is the measurement of triangles. Agree?

Read what Ron Larson said about trigonometry. Here is his definition of the course:

"measurement of triangles", we never used that as a definition (getting use to it)

I never defined trigonometry that way, too.
