    Section 1.7
    Questions: 40, 42, 44, 46

    40. f(x) = (x + 2)^2 - 7

    42. f(x) = -(x + 6)^3 - 6

    44. f(x) = | x + 4 | - 8

For 46, the graph has been reflected in BOTH the x-axis and y-axis. I know the function starts out as f(x) = sqrt{x} - 9. How can a function be reflected in BOTH the x-axis and y-axis simultaneously?
